Who We Are.
La Perle Noire LLC programs and curriculums focus on comprehensive approaches that ensure BIPOC youth and adults have access to the information, resources and support they require to build their self-image, academics and professional capacities and economic viability in todays competitive job market. We value young people’s participation and collaboration, and engage them in the design, and implementation of our programs.
In addition, La Perle Noire LLC is a beauty educational service company covering various wellness and beautification services including manicures, pedicures, massages, yoga and skincare. We work in close partnership with local, civil society organizations, schools and international partners to address systemic challenges that face our BIPOC communities and identify innovative solutions to change.
La Perle Noire LLC, believes that bringing about transformational and lasting change requires addressing the underlying power imbalances that result in the inequitable distribution of resources and opportunities. By creating an educational, trade/vocational curriculum and providing an equitable environment where youth and adults can become the best versions of themselves and equipping them with skills, knowledge, and leadership; they are empowered to step into new roles and lead change themselves.
